Take 2023 by storm and elevate your career. Sharpen your audition and performance skills by working directly with the agents responsible for booking talent into Broadway’s biggest shows. Workshop your audition, the acting of the song, and gain insight on what Agents are looking for when seeking new clients.

**Agents Listed In Order of Appearance**
Class will meet each week for 3 hours, each with a representative of a different theatrical talent agency. Each student will work one-on-one with the agent on cuts of multiple songs or monologues in a classroom setting. Each class with also include a short Q&A, information on the intricacies of the casting process for that office and insight on what the auditioner can do to stand out.

Course cost: $340. Class participants strictly limited to 18 students
Under the direction of Artistic Director, Jeff Whiting, Open Jar’s Professional Class Series provides unique opportunities for performers to continue to hone their skills and work one-on-one with Broadway’s best stars, directors, composers, agents, and casting directors.
BIOS:
Jamie Harris (Vice President, Clear Talent Group) has been part of the theatre and dance community of New York since 1989. He holds a B.A in Theatre Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. As an actor and dancer, he performed in numerous productions in New York City and across America including seven seasons in the Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular, a national tour of A Chorus Line, the world premiere of The Rhythm Club, Funny Girl: In Concert on Broadway and The Producers musical film. Jamie joined the New York office of Clear Talent Group in 2003 and became an agent in 2005. Since then, he has represented talent in all facets of the entertainment industry with a focus on Broadway and Film and Television. In 2012, he became the Director of the New York office and is now the Vice President of Clear Talent Group.
Jed Abrahams is the Senior Vice President and Head of the New York Office for Kazarian/Measures/Ruskin & Associates, Inc., one of Broadway's leading talent agencies. Jed fell in love with talent representation at the start of his career and continues to reaffirm his love each time he works with his clients.
Danny Prather (Hudson Artists Agency) represents a selective list of developmental and established actors currently on Broadway, Tours, Television and Films. Danny has worked at Talent House and Don Buchwald. Danny works with fellow agent Meghan Manahan, both handle film, television and theatre.
Working on Broadway and on Tour, clients include: LION KING, HADESTOWN, ONCE UPON A ONE MORE TIME, ALMOST FAMOUS, SIX, BOOK OF MORMON, & JULIET, LES MIZ, BEAUTIFUL NOISE and on TV his current clients have appeared on: THE BLACKLIST, GILDED AGE, MANIFEST, INSIDE AMY SCHUMER, YOU, BLUE BLOODS, AND JUST LIKE THAT, THE BLACKLIST, KALEIDOSCOPE, and EVIL (to name a few).

ABSENCE POLICY: If you need to be absent for any reason, please contact masterclass@openjarinstitute.com and we will endeavor to find a replacement for you from the waiting list (if one has been started). If we are able to locate a replacement from the waiting list, the absent student will receive a 50% refund on their original payment (prorated if missing a portion of the class series).
